Fortade is based in the beautiful Nambucca Valley on the Mid North Coast of NSW mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane.

Brad Fortescue and Wayne Pade own and operate the business with over 30 combined years’ experience. Brad and Wayne have a strong knowledge of the local area and of what resources are available and how to get the job done. Fortade has worked on different projects from Newcastle to Brisbane. Fortade also do a variety of work from small excavations to large contracts.

Having started as a small local business, Fortade has grown over the last decade to include five key areas being earthmoving, rail, mechanical, transport and vegetation management and with a staff of over fifty employees including two apprentices and access to compliant sub-contractors, Fortade are in a solid position to provide dedicated, experienced, and well-trained workers to your enquiry.

Fortade primarily employs Nambucca Valley locals however do engage specialist personnel from areas across the north eastern location of New South Wales. Our team have conducted works from Newcastle in the south to Beaudesert in South East Queensland out to Moree in the west of the state. Our network to be able to provide the best possible service is one that is widespread.

Fortade implements and stands by our company policies and procedures such as our Environmental Protection Plan, Workplace Health & Safety Management Plan, Emergency Response Procedures, and the Work Quality Policy, as part of our business. Our operators are nationally qualified and are experienced in the earthmoving and excavations industry. Our operators have or are currently working towards their Certificate III in Civil Construction. Our employees maintain a strong emphasis on being ecologically aware and continue to have a considerate approach to the environment.
