Fortade operates a mechanical workshop from our premises.

The workshop can provide all professional workshop including mobile plant & mechanical servicing and can carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to most makes and models of all mechanical equipment.

We offer a onsite, fixed and mobile service to our customers and can range from small machinery such as pumps and small motors through to larger earthmoving diesel vehicles including all types of trucks.

Our services also extend to your car where our experienced mechanics can diagnose and repair your car’s needs. Our work is not limited to our own fleet but extends to our contractors, members of the public and government agencies.

Fortades Mechanical Workshop also has a fully qualified team of fitters, that use a wide range of tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mechanical plant machinery and equipment to operational standards. Fortade’s fitters can identify defective or worn mechanical components or equipment, then repair or replace the worn or faulty components or equipment. Our team of fitters are particularly good at doing modifications and the approval of such.

Our service also extends to provide all auto electrical work such as diagnose and repair. This may be the tail lights on your truck or car through to having a trailer rewired or new battery installed. Fortade also have the infrastructure and reporting in place to supply you with all your air conditioning needs for all types of plant and vehicles.
