This includes management of road closures, rail shutdown, traffic management and provision of all crew and machinery including rail ballast. Obviously, the impacts of level crossing maintenance and repair are many so it’s imperative that works are carried out in a timely manner. Our extensive rail maintenance experience helps mitigate any delays and subsequent costs by providing an efficient, first-class service, which aims to reopen the rail and roads as soon as it’s safely possible to do so.
With the provision of Rail Protection Officers Level 1-4 and Hand signalling Levels 1 and 2 plus Traffic Control and Management, we ensure safety is a priority. Fortade excel also in providing track certifiers and project management for works involving rail.
